This blog seeks to encourage and publicise actions that help make the Sunshine Coast more sustainable, with a focus on renewable energy, energy efficiency, rubbish reduction, recycling and water conservation. The focus goes beyond the efforts of households, and instead focuses on businesses, community facilities, farms, holiday accommodation, and manufacturers. Global warming is happening right now, and with the size of the problem, the solution needs to go beyond domestic action. The problem is so large that no amount of changing the light bulbs in our homes can tackle it. We need action throughout the community and with all types of infrastructure.
